GATE 2025 Application Process
The application process for GATE 2025 is designed to be simple. Here’s how it works:
- Online Application: Start by filling in your personal and academic details, upload the required documents, and pay the application fee online.
- Application Review: After submitting, your application will be checked. If there are any issues, you will need to fix them quickly.
- Admit Card: Once approved, you will receive an admit card, which you must download from the official website.

GATE 2025 Exam Pattern and Marking
The GATE 2025 exam is a single paper lasting 3 hours, with 65 questions worth 100 marks. The questions are divided into three types:
- Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs): These have one correct answer out of four options. Wrong answers will result in negative marks (1/3 mark deduction for 1-mark questions, 2/3 mark deduction for 2-mark questions).
- Multiple Select Questions (MSQs): These may have one or more correct answers. There is no negative marking for incorrect answers in this section.
- Numerical Answer Type (NAT) Questions: You need to enter a number as the answer. There is no negative marking for NAT questions.
